Duan Liang is the Founding Principal and Managing Director at Aura Shanghai Studio. Liang graduated from University of Manitoba and achieved Bachelor of Environmental Design. He also received a Diploma of Urban Land Economics from University of British Columbia. Since then He has worked in Canada, USA and China for over 15 years at various types of projects from architecture, planning, and landscape architecture to development consulting. Prior of founding AURA, Liang is a partner at a renewal PWL partnership. Liang has extensive project management experience, managed diverse consulting groups in environmental assessments and market sense. By collabration with Gensler Nihon Sekkei, Jerde, Benoy, Perkins+Will, By working between multiple cultural backgrounds, Liang always delivers the high standard goals to clients. He is specialized at Land use analysis, landscape design and plan complex urban project based on economic realities of the market place, forward thinking on sustainability.
